This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (DTCG81-00-Q-3TM153) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. FAR clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This RFQ is being solicitated UNRESTRICTED. The SIC is 3812/750 employees. Item description is as follows: Quantity 34 ea. Depthfinder, with the following salient characteristics: SYSTEM: a.) Two LCD Graphic displays that will function as a main and a remote using one transducer, both displays must be able to change all settings and functions, both displays must work at the same time. The Main unit must be able to send graphic picture to remote that can be placed up to 40 ft. away. Output Power between 300 to 600 watts RMS. Must be able to send and receive a NMEA string 0183 and powered by 12 or 24 volts DC; DISPLAY: b.) minimum viewing area per display is 6 in. diagonal and 320 x 240 pixel, max. size and weight not to exceed 9 x 11 x 4.5 and 41 lbs., monochrome display preferred and both displays must meet USCG 46 CFR for weather integrity; TRANSDUCER: c.) Dual frequency 50Khz and 200Khz, low profile, 2" thru hull and able to accommodate a hull thickness of 2 3/4 in. (Items needed: 2 Displays (Main & Remote), 1 Transducer, Interconnect and Power cables, 1 NMEA cable (10 ft. in length)) This is a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Acceptance: Destination, F.O.B: Destination. Delivery 30 June 2000. Delivery to: Boston, MA 02109 (5 ea.), Portsmouth, VA 23703 (9 ea.), Miami Beach, FL 33139 (5 ea.), and New Orleans, LA 70117 (15 ea.).
