Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is S-LMAQM-00-Q-0083 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-17. This procurement is solicited as a 100% small business set-aside, SIC Code 5065, Size Standard 500. Items to be acquired: Ten (10) STU-III, Type I Secure Telephone Units for installation into fly-away communications kits (previously purchased under separate procurement) Units must have the following features: 9.6 KBPS secure fax and data (synchronous and asynchronous), auto answer, auto secure, security access control systems (SACS), tempest and CIK key management. Offerors should provide descriptive literature, warranty information, and/or other materials with the offer. Deliver F.O.B. destination to Washington, D.C. (specific delivery instructions will provided after award) no later than 35 days after contract award. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror.
