RFQ 60181-0-Q450) This is a combined SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR SUBPART 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation no. 60181-0-Q450 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be awarded as a purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3537 trailers. Small Business size is 750 employees. See Note 1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. The solicitation item is as follows: Tri-axle trailer 8ft 6 inch wide, 26 foot long, 35 ton capacity. to include: 5 ft. beavertail, 7 way plug, black in color, dual wheel tri-axle assembly with neway triaxle suspension, 10 hole budd wheels 21575Rx17/5 tires, one piece wheel, with oil bath hubs. 3 22,500 pound axles with 12-1/4" x 7-1/2" straight air brakes, 48 ton adjustable towing ring, 2" oak plank flooring, mud flaps. Side pockets on 24" centers with 3/8" x 2" steel rub rail. Self cleaning beaver tail: 5ft. long with folding, adjustable ramps. High yield steel. Sealed vapor proof lighting system: turned, running, clearance and tag light, heavy duty gauge wire with commercial connectors and conduit. D rings: 3 standard each side, additional 4 each side, 1 each side beavertail, 2 on front of trailer deck, 2 on bottom of beavertail (total of 14 each).
