The Internal Revenue Service intends to extend the term of the Department of Treasury Telecommunications Systems (DOTTS) contract NO: TIR-91-D-00057 to Lucent Technologies, Inc. for one additional year. The contract expires May 30, 2001. The current contract services consist of integrated digital voice and data, local telecommunications equipment and services; associated technical services; and management services for federal agencies nationwide. The systems and services include telecommunications switching systems up to 5000 lines, data switching systems up to 2000 lines, key systems and hybrid systems, station equipment, wire and cable installation, maintenance and technical support. The Department of Treasury does not anticipate award of a new contract before this contract expires.
