Request For Proposal (RFP) # 2-00-JC-33-72, for the operation of the three Puerto Rico Job Corps Centers, located in Arecibo, Barranquitas and Ramey will be available, free of charge, on the World Wide Web on or about June 16, 2000 at http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period from December 1, 2000 through November 30, 2002, with three (3) Governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The average capacity of the Arecibo JC Center is 200 students (82 residential males, 61 residential females, 10 nonresidential males and 47 nonresidential females. The average capacity of the Barranquitas JC center is 260 students (90 male residential, 95 female residential, 35 male nonresidential and 40 female nonresidential). The average capacity of Ramey JC center is 335 students (136 male residential, 136 female residential,14 male nonresidential and 49 female nonresidential), A pre-proposal conference will take place on each of the threecenters: Ramey, Tuesday, July 11, 2000 at 11:00 A.M. Arecibo, Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at 10:00 AM Barranquitas, Thursday, July 13, 2000 at 11:00 AM .
