FCI WASECA, MN SOL RFP 40020-0010 POC Larry Burgess The Federal
Correctional Institution in Waseca, Minnesota has a requirement for a
contractor(s) to provide comprehensive hospital and physician services
for a all-male prison population. The base year is estimated from
October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001, with four option years. Due
to security concerns, only medical facilities will be considered within
a sixty mile radius. Essential health services may include the
following: inpatient/outpatient hospital services, inpatient/outpatient
physician services, and outpatient institution services at the
designated BOP institution. All contractors must adhere to all
applicable local, state and Federal Laws and regulations governing the
delivery of health services. The governments anticpates a multiple
award contract as a result of this solicitation. The award will be a
firm-fixed price indefinite quanity contract. The total amount of
award(s) is estimated between $1 million and $5 million over the
anticipated life of the contract (inclusive of option years). Types of
services are included in the solicitation package. The issuance of
this solicitation is expected on or about June 20, 2000. All
contractors must adhere to all applicable local, state and Federal laws
