COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JUNE 1,2000 PSA#2612Western Governors' Association, 600 17th Street, Suite 1705 South
Tower, Denver, CO 80202 R -- EMISSIONS INVENTORY FOR CLASS I AREAS SOL 00WGA106WRAP DUE 070700
POC Richard Halvey, (303) 623-9378 WEB: Western Governors' Association,
http://www.westgov.org. E-MAIL: Western Governors' Association,
rhalvey@westgov.org. In order to minimize the impact of Federal
activities upon environmental resources in units under its care,
sources of air pollution within the national parks must be identified
and, where feasible, emissions should be reduced or eliminated. The
first step in minimizing air pollutant emissions from anthropogenic
activities within the parks is to determine their origins,
compositions, quantities, and rates. The In and Near Forum of the
Western Regional Air Partnership (WRAP) will prepare air pollutant
"emission inventories" for many national parks in the WRAP region,
especially those designated as Class I under the Clean Air Act.
Responses to this RFP are due on July 7. Posted 05/30/00 (D-SN459786).
