The WRAP is assisting states and tribes in performing technical = work for the implementation plans due in December, 2003 under the provisions = of =A751.308 and 309 in the regional haze rule. This portion of the rule = deals with implementation of the recommendations of the Grand Canyon = Visibility Transport Commission (GCVTC). As a part of that effort, it will be necessary to develop an emission inventory for the most readily = available and most current base year, in this case 1996. In addition, a future = year inventory for 2018 will be needed. Once the basic inventory consisting = of SO2, NOx, VOC, PM10, and ammonia is created in this project, the = Modeling Forum will be taking the lead on performing speciation and gridding. Therefore, this project is simply to compile data from a number of = sources, and develop a consolidated inventory that has been quality assured. Responses to this RFP are due on June 26.
