Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge Project RRP-OKEF 10(1), 3rd Proposal, in Charlton County and Ware County, Georgia. The project consists of the rehabilitation of Swamp Island Drive and paving and other resurfacing work within the refuge. The project work includes placement of aggregate base, excavation, asphalt paving, asphalt milling, culvert installation, and construction traffic control. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Aggregate Base: 160 tons; Asphalt paving: 7,700 tons; Asphalt milling: 250 sqyd; Pipe culvert: 100 lnft; Culvert removal: 975 ft; Ditch reconditioning: 950 lnft; Pavement fabric: 1,550 sqyd. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $250,000 to $750,000.
