The scope of this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, appliances, devices and materials and perform all necessary operations to replace windows in housing units at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This project was previously issued as Solicitation F33601-00-B-0006. This project is being reissued with significant changes to the performance requirements. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. Mr. Stephen J. Plaisted has been appointed as Ombudsman to hear concerns from offerors, or potential offerors, during the proposal development. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. Existence of an Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer.
