The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistic Center has a requirement to establish a program for 45 different types of Fairbanks Morse Engine Division, BF Goodrich Company Replacement Parts Kits for the Model 251 Diesel Engines used on the 210' and 270' WMEC and 400' WAGB Class Coast Guard Vessels. The form, fit and function of these kits must be exactly compatible with the end item or system for which it is intended for on the Diesel Engine. This is critical to the end item or system functional charcteristics. It has been determined in accordance with FAR 6.301 that bids will only be accepted by Fairbanks Morse Engine Division, BF Goodrich Company and their authorized distributors due to the fact that exact compatibility with the end item is required.
