A -- EPITOPE DISCOVERY TO IDENTIFY PEPTIDES DIAGNOSTIC FOR CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME SOL 2000-N-00098 DUE 082400 POC Elmira C.Benson, Section III, MS K-70, 770-488-2628 A -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates the award of a contract to use epitope discovery to identify peptides diagnostic for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)." The purpose of the resultant contract is to screen sera from chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) patients and controls using a phage display library and to identify peptides that are diagnostic for CFS. The period of performance shall be twenty-four months from the contract award date. The contract shall be incrementally funded based upon the government's availability of funds for each fiscal year.
