The government is seeking sources interested in supplying data transmitting equipment to be used to transmit data from existing Sutron Inc. data collection platforms (DCP),at various lake projects within the Kansas City District. DCP's are located at lake stilling basins, within 2 miles of lake project offices, some line of sight and some are not. The contractor shall ensure that all data that is being gathered has the capability to be transmitted to a remote display device on a continuous basis by radio transmission. Current data being gathered, with the potential of being transmitted, are lake level, dissolved oxygen levels, wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, air temperature, lake temperature, maximum wind speed with time stamp, maximum and minimum temperatures with time stamp, and precipitation. Other parameters may be added as deemed necessary. Letters of interest shall include a brief company profile and statement demonstrating experience in systems currently being used that are capable of transmitting data on a continuous basis. The interested company should be able to supply the equipment within 90 days of initial order and have on-site repair facility to repair the equipment should it need maintenance. Any repairs to equipment should be able to be completed within a 30-day period. Qualified parties must indicate their interest by responding to this notice.
