& Exhibition "Fire Support for the New Millennium" Hilton Parsippany

#060 The symposium will examine the technological thrusts of the US
Army and the principal European Allies towards enhancing the indirect
fire support capabilities of their respective armies in the
modernization of cannon tubed artillery systems. The meeting will
provide an excellent forum for presentations and discussions involving
technical and operational philosophies and objectives of the various
participating countries and a comparative review of competing weapons
systems and sub-systems. The conference will focus on new emerging
technologies and applications for the various sub-systems of the weapon
system, such as propulsion, fuzing, fire control, ammunition, armor,
logistics, guidance systems, etc. The conference will provide for
cross-fertilization of technical and operational informationbetween the
US and its principal allies and provide a forum for Industry to better
understand US Army artillery requirements. US and International
Government and Industry Exhibits will complement the technical papers
and discussions covering all aspects of the various weapon systems.
System equipment displays (outside) and exhibit booth presentations are
planned. The symposium and exhibition is organized to be especially
valuable to all persons in Government and Industry who plan, prepare,
evaluate, fund and manage ordnance systems/items. The information
provided will be of great interest and importance to all those
responsible for ensuring the ability to support combat on battlefields
