Contractor will provide boxes, tape, marking pens, etc. for packing up work areas. Remove all furniture from building and store in containers noting where the furniture, etc. was removed from. Remove and dispose of all existing vinyl, carpet and cove molding. Clean, seal, patch and treat the subfloor -- this includes treating the floor to remove all mold, mildew and fungus. The floor will be vacuumed a minimum of two times with a HEPA filtered machine. A new subfloor will be installed, it will be leveled and all cracks will be patched and floated. The subfloor will need approval before the vinyl is laid. The vinyl will be laid with a minimum number of seams, the seams need to match and be located outside the high traffic areas. The seams will be heat welded. The contractor will move the furniture back as it was unless otherwise directed. It is the contractor's responsibility to follow and adhere to all manufacturer's installation procedures to assure warranties apply. Government Estimate is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. No bid or performance bond will be required. An Alternate Payment Protection (payment bond) will be required upon award. Estimated start work date is 07/14/00 with a completion date of 07/29/00.
