Each leaf will be assembled from six sections. These sections are te be welded together to form a complete gate leaf. Each gate leaf will be approximately 62 feet wide and 72 feet high. Each gate leaf is to be painted once assembly is complete. The McAlpine Wharf provides piers and a work area for the constractor to assemble the gate leaves.
