Notice is hereby provided of the Government's requirement for a performance-based elevator maintenance service contract at the Kenneth Keating US Courthouse & Federal Bldg, 100 State Street, Rochester, NY. The contract base period is three (3) years commencing on August 1, 2000 and includes one (1) 24-month option following thereafter. The successful contractor shall provide full elevator maintenance service in compliance with ANSI/ASME Safety Code requirements, the manufacturer's recommendations, and all other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances and codes. Full maintenance service is defined as all services, repairs and testing necessary to maintain all elevators, appurtences and accessories in a fully operational mode at all times except for prescheduled downtime including all labor, parts and materials. This procurement is open to both small and large business concerns. The solicitation will include a 10% price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns pursuant to FAR52.219-4; an additional 10% Price Evaluation Adjustment will be available to small disadvantage business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 7349 and the small business size standard is $12 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
