The period of performance is award through 30 September 2002. The purchase order minimum tonnage is 20 Tons and the purchase order maximum tonnage is 1200 Tons. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is to be delivered F.O.B. Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA. Destination location is an estimated 10 miles from the front gate and 6 miles from the back gate. Requirements for bulk Liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO2) will be ordered orally. The request will normally be for one truckload of 20 tons (40,000 lbs of bulk CO2). The offeror must meet a one-day normal working day turnaround from the time that oral order is placed until time of delivery. Normal workdays are Monday through Friday. On special occasions Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays delivery will be required when testing is in progress. This Solicitation Number is N68936-00-T-0130, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a commercial items requirement prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and award shall be made in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program For Certain Commercial Items. The SIC code is 2813 and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
