platform lift in the chapel area of the U.S. Medical Center for Federal
Prisoners within the confines of the secure perimeter. The lift shall
have a minimum load capacity of 450 pounds, travel speed; 0 to .15 m/s
(29 feet per minute) for starting and .15 m/s to 0 for stopping. The
platform shall have the ability to fold when not in use. Contractor
shall meet all Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards (UFAS), American
Society of Mechanical Engineers/American National Standards Institute
(ASME/ANSI) publication. The ramp size is 75 feet 2 and one-quarter
inches long with a 71-inch rise. There is 58 and one-half inches clear
at the bottom and 61 inches clear at the top, with ramp being 8 feet
11 inches wide. The wall is 8 inches x 16 inches concrete block with
brick on the exterior. Estimated range $25,000.00 to $100,000.00.
