Enforcement Support Center based in Williston Vermont currently
receives and responds to alien inquiries throughout the United States
and Internationally via the National Law Enforcement Telecommunication
System. The LESC is in need of an upgrade and replacemenet of existing
Law Enforcement message switches as well as support services after
installation to meet their expanding telecommunication needs. The
message switching system must communicate via multiple, secure TCPIP
sockets to established national databases including but not limited to
NCIC. The system must allow outside communications over BiSync and
dedicated T1 circuits. The system must allow the passing and receipt of
sensitive information from multiple ORI addresses simultaneously. The
system must also include message archival and retrieval mechanisms,
multiple transaction processors, message polling and printer daemons,
