The purpose of the Maintenance, Repair and Calibration of Instrumentation Contract is to provide on- site services to the Propulsion Directorate (PR) in the areas of maintenance, calibration, repair, fabrication, installation, modification, design, overhaul, operation and checkout of instrumentation, instrumentation/control systems, controls, equipment, and related special devices belonging to or being maintained by the Propulsion Directorate (PR). Special devices include but are not limited to the following types of equipment: electronic, communications, electro-mechanical, electro-pneumatic, audio-visual, electro-optical and meteorological. Work must be accomplished on both a scheduled and unscheduled basis and maintenance, calibration and inventory records must be maintained. Additionally, instrumentation support of various test sites are maintained, equipment inventories are accomplished and the Equipment Maintenance Data System (EMDS) is administered and managed. Haz-Mat inventories and tracking for the PR are also performed as required.
