Follow-on contract support for the Nuclear Test Personnel Review (NTPR) Program. The NTPR Program is a Department of Defense (DoD) program, managed by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, that supports military personnel and DoD civilian employees identified as atomic veterans. The scope of work requires the contractor to perform database management, dose assessment, and veteran assistance tasks in support of the NTPR Program. The NTPR Program has many elements designed to assist the DoD military and civilian test participants, to help the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Justice in responding to claims, and to provide information to those organizations responsible for studies concerned with the health effects of ionizing radiation. These elements include (1) researching participation and establishing a register of DoD participants; (2) collecting and analyzing all known sources of recorded dosimetry and radiation data applicable to participants, and reconstructing doses in cases where recorded doses are unavailable or incomplete; (3) maintaining a comprehensive database of participation and dose information, along with supporting archival materials and documents; (4) conducting an extensive public outreach program to ensure maximum interface with the supported participants; (5) maintaining the history of each U.S. atmospheric nuclear weapons test operation; (6) supporting studies to determine whether participants experience adverse health effects as a result of their test activities; and (7) providing accurate and timely responses to requests for information from incoming inquiries. The period of performance is 5 years. To be eligible for award contractors must have a secret facility clearance and contractor personnel must have a secret security clearance.
