Work includes, but not limited to providing all labor, equipment, and material necessary to prepare existing asphalt roadways and parking lots for surface course of asphalt. Some areas require an additional 1-1/2 inches while other areas require an additional 2 inches. Milling of some existing surfaces will have to be accomplished as well as patching of thin or deteriorated areas. Some areas may need to be cut out entirely, the aggregate base removed and soil excavated, the aggregate base replaced, and then the asphalt placed. There will be an option for concrete curbs listed within the solicitation. The performance period is 60 days from notice to proceed. Solicitation documents will be available on 12 June 2000. Estimated bid opening date is 12 July 2000 and award date will be 27 July 2000. This acquistion is a small business set-a-side using sealed bid procedures.
