(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in sub-part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation F02601-00-Q0103 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under standard industrial classification code 3949, size standard 500 employees. The 355th Services Squadron, Youth Center is searching for playground equipment that meets or exceeds the consumer product safety commission (CPSC) guidelines. This equipment should be geared towards the needs of children from the ages of 5-12. This should be an elevated system containing various ladders, crawl tubes, slides, decks, walls, bridges and stairways. It must be contained in an area of roughly 40 feet by 50 feet to include the a__fall-zones.a__ The contractor will be responsible for installation set-up and proper anchoring of all equipment items and also provide and install associated items listed below in the suggested line item section. The line items listed below are suggested but not limited to the playground system a contractor may have already developed. LINE ITEMS.
