99 -- UPGRADE OF EFFLUENT WASTE TREATMENT FACILITY SOL 430/0202Z/00 DUE 062300 POC Jacquelyn Connell, DIA/DAP, 202-231-2452 The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), intends to solicit and negotiate with Eastman Kodak Company to award a service contract for the design, delivery and installation of upgrades to the Effluent Waste Treatment facility located in the DIAC. The contractor will be required to deliver, assemble and install upgrades that will provide a fully capable, operational status, automated pH control system. The installation shall include site preparation and system modification to allow full integration with the existing waste treatment process. The system must be capable of determining and recording the volume of individual waste streams and the program/database should provide user accessible calibration features and shall be capable of furnishing daily reports on the amount of chemicals dispensed. Other sources capable of satisfying this requirement are invited to submit clear and convincing data substantiating their capability to satisfy this requirement.
