fuller.david@epa.gov. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),
under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13, intends to
issue a sole source purchase order to Department of Wildlife
Management, North Slope, Barrow, Alaska, to research and provide the
Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Program (AMAP) report for Phase II:
Heavy Metals. The objective of this requirement is to identify sources
of scientific information on heavy metals in the U.S. Arctic and
obtain and combine these data with new data from the seven other Arctic
nations to write the Phase II AMAP report. The contractor shall find,
evaluate, analyze and summarize scientific data on heavy metals in the
U.S. Arctic, targeting work since 1990; integrate U.S. heavy metals
information with that provided by the seven other Arctic nations into
text suitable for inclusion in the AMAP Phase II Heavy Metals
publication, consistent with the geographical area covered by the AMAP
assessment; and disseminate summarized information via a U.S. AMAP
Internet page that is directly linked to the current International AMAP
Internet page. The period of performance will be one year. Posted
