Dingell Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan is searching for an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm to perform a study of alternate flooring options/materials for the atrium floor at this medical center, along with associated costs. The existing ceramic tiles are cracking frequently due to movement of sub base, weak joints between tiles and high equipment traffic. The A/E should have Licensed Professional Engineers with experience in flooring. The A/E should have experience dealing with interstitial building spaces in modern construction. Construction is estimated to be less than $25,000. Estimated design time is 60 calendar days.
