This is a follow-on effort for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (OASD(HA)), TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), to provide support for ongoing and future health care programs. The requirement is known as the Program Management and Integration II (PMI II). The contractors on the current PMI contracts are CTA DASW01-96-D-0022, Sherikon DASW01-96-D-0024, IBA DASW01-96-D-0021 and STI DASWW01-96-D-0020. PMI II will be used to support all components of the Military Health System (MHS) and TMA. It may also be available to other agencies to use appropriate support capabilities required by the Department of Defense to accomplish its Health Affairs' mission. Hereafter, any reference to OASD(HA) shall include TMA, MHS and associated offices. PMI II is an acquisition vehicle that will be used to acquire expert, technical, administrative and managerial advice, assistance and services for OASD(HA). At a minimum, PMI II services will consist of the following: advisory and assistance services; program and project management; administrative support; budget planning, programming, execution and integration support; acquisition management and support. TYPE OF CONTRACT: The intent is to award a Fixed Loaded Labor Rate, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract to one or more contracts for PMI II.
