The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of
potential qualified industry sources that will meet the stated
requirements of the performance work statement. Fort Lewis, Washington
is conducting an OMB A-76 Cost Comparison Study to determine the most
efficient and cost effective method of providing operating services
for materials, supplies, plant, supervision, labor, and equipment
necessary to accomplish the services outlined to perform Logistics;
Public Works; Range Operations, Plans, Training, Mobilization, and
Security support; Environmental Compliance; Housing and Billeting
Services and Facility Assignments; Personnel services; and Information
Management functions at Yakima Training Center (YTC), Washington. This
notice is not to be considered a solicitation; no solicitation exists.
All responses received by the Government will be reviewed to determine
what firms have the capability to perform these services. Interested
firms may communicate their interest in writing to Karl H. Johnson,
Contract Specialist, Directorate of Contracting, Bldg 2015A, MS19, Box
339500, Fort Lewis, WA 98433-9500 or by e-mail at
johnsonk@lewis.army.mil. Responses shall include (1) a brief
description of corporate capability, including past experience with
related effort; (2) company name, address, point of contact, phone
number and e-mail address; (3) whether your firm is a large, small, or
small disadvantaged business; and (4) any other pertinent information.
This synopsis does not constitute a request for proposals and the
Government assumes no liability for costs incurred by respondees in
providing information in response to this synopsis. The Performance

proposed Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8744, Base
