Donahue-Ormandy, Regional Contract Specialist 570-547-1641, ext. 543 SOLICITATION NOTICE: The United States Penitentiary including the Camp and Intensive Confinement Center, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, has a requirement for a qualified medical entity to provide comprehensive medical services to federal prisoners. The medical services required would consist of inpatient and outpatient hospital services, inpatient and outpatient physician services and outpatient institution services. The inpatient/outpatient hospital and physician services would be provided at the contractor's facility. Only medical facilities located within a twenty mile (20) radius will be utilized for inpatient/outpatient services. The institution outpatient services would be required at the United States Penitentiary Lewisburg. All services will be required for a twelve month base period, with four twelve month option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantities for each twelve (12) month period ofthe contract are as follows: Estimated Inpatient days and Physician Services -- 165; Estimated outpatient visits and Physician Services -- 227; and approximately fifteen speciality services at the institution.
