The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to obtain international travel services for foreign dignitaries and public health officials visiting the U.S. and other countries, as well as U.S. public health officials (non-federal employees) visiting foreign countries. The scope of activities will include arranging and providing international air and ground transportation; lodging accomodations; travel itineraries; reimbursement of subsistence and incidental expenses; interpreters/translators; liaison services; passport services; assistance with customs and foreign taxes; and logistical support for conferences, seminars, and workshops held in foreign countries. Competition for this acquisition is full and open. All responsible sources that can provide the services described above may submit a proposal which shall be considered by CDC. The SIC code for this acquisition is 8741, and the small business size standard is$5 million. The solicitation will be available on or about June 22, 2000. The date specified for receipt of offers will be approximately 30 days after the solicitation issue date.
