53706 67 -- SCIENTIFIC DIGIYAL CCD CAMERA SOL 001-3635-007 DUE 062300 POC
Jean Weinbrenner (608)264-5322 The Sugarbeet and Bean Research Unit of
USDA/ARS/MWA is requesting the acquisition of a scientific digital CCD
camera. The basic requirements for the camera are as follows: The
camera shall cover the spectral region between 300 nm and 1000 nm. The
CCD detector shall have the quantum efficiency between 20% and 90% for
the special region from 400 nm to 100 nm. The CCD shall have at least
512 by 512 pixels with the pixel size equal to or greater than 6.7 um
X 6.7 um. The full well capacity of the camera shall be greater than
70,000 electrons. The full frame acquisition rate of the camera shall
be no less than five frames per second at 12-bit or higher digitization
format. The readout noise should be lower than 15 electrons and the
mean dark currant lower than four electrons/pixel/s. The camera shall
have a standard C-mount and standard interface to communicate with, and
transfer images to, the computer. It is preferred that the camera
system comes with the image acquisition board and cable as well as the
acquisition software that is easy to operate under MS Windows
98/2000/NT operation systems and possesses the basic functions required
for acquiring images. Posted 06/05/00 (W-SN461361). (0157) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0287 20000607\67-0001.SOL)
