(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F11623-00-T-0892 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-17. (iv) This is a total small business set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 5045 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) There are two contract line item numbers and the quantity is 13 each. (vi) The description of item 0001 is as follows: Purchase 13 copies of Sandstorm Enterprises, Inc. PhoneSweep Plus 8 software or equal. The software must meet the following specifications: function as a full-featured telephone scanner for Microsoft Windows NT platforms; support at least 8 modems dialing simultaneously, with real-time logging of call results to an embedded SQL database; capable of identifying 200+ dial-up connections and be able to differentiate between faxes, modems, etc.; ability to capture screens of text that are produced on successful connections with the ability to try usernames and passwords from a predefined list; security locks to prevent unauthorized use; and must be Y2K compliant. The description of item 0002 is as follows: One year of support for each of the 13 software licenses. (vii) Delivery of the equipment is f.o.b. destination to Scott AFB IL.
