The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Harris Corporation, Government Communication Systems Division of Melbourne, Florida, under the authority of FAR 6.302 for technical and engineering support services required by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN-SD). SPAWARSYSCEN-SD as the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) is responsible for providing system upgrades, training, and life-cycle support for certain Super High Frequency Satellite Communication Systems, including the AN/WSC-9(V) 1, 2, 3 and the AN/WSC-6(V)9 programs. The prospective contractor will assist SPAWARSYSCEN-SD in providing support for these systems installed on U.S. Navy ships worldwide.
