Work consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to replace existing fire alarm system with new system at the U. S. Coast Guard Station in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The work includes but is not limited to the following: (a) Replace existing fire detection and alarm system in the Administration Building with an addressable fire detection and alarm system; (b) Replace fire alarm devices in multi-purpose building with new devices compatible wit the new system; (c) Install new fire alarm devices in the Boat Maintenance, Cutter Office and Shops buildings; (d) Replace existing fire alarm wires in the two 1-inch underground conduits; and (e) demolition work as specified. There is no charge for the bid package. No telephone requests shall be accepted. All bid requests must be submitted in writing, and may be faxed to (305)278-6696. This solicitation is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1731 with a three-year average annual receipts small business size standard of $7.0 million.
