Work includes but is not limited to the installation of new underground electrical distribution to replace the existing overhead electrical distribution. The existing overhead distribution system will be demolished under the project. Replacement includes installation of underground ductbank, pad-mounted transformers, switches, building services, conduit to support cable television service, and parking lot lighting. Existing overhead service entrances are to be converted to underground. Existing street and parking lot light circuits are to be converted from overhead to underground. The project area spans approximately 4200 linear feet. Magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Performance period of 120 days is authorized. For this project with a winter exclusion of 1 November to 1 May 00. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 7 July 00. With a closing date of 30 days after issuance.
