20 -- UNIVERSAL MODULAR MAST (UMM) SYSTEM SOL N00024-00-R-6231 POC 0262K, Kristin Henry, Contract Specialist, 703-602-7501ext 692 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue RFP N00024-00-R-6231 to Kollmorgen Corporation, 347 King Street, Northhampton, MA 01060-2390 on a sole source basis for the production of 8 UMM's. Under contract N00024-95-C-6212 Kollmorgen is designing and producing UMM's. Therefore, Kollmorgen possesses the requisite knowledge and capability to complete this work in a timely and cost-efficient manner. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies satisfy the Navy's requirements.
