USACE Little Rock District intends to award a sole source purchase order to Berendsen Fluid Power Systems, 7600 Fluid Drive, Little Rock, AR. Anticipated purchase order award date is on/about 21 June 00. The following supply items will be purchased: Hydraulic power systems to replace existing electric motors and controls utilized to drive the Falk winch for the tow haulage systems at Locks 3, 4 and 5. These replacement systems must match existing equipment for reasons of operability and serviceability. The Berendsen Power System # 4134 and the 90M100CC Sunstrand hydraulic drive motor are currently in use.
