The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona intends to negotiate and award a contract on a sole source basis to Nicolet Technologies, 525 Verona Road, Madison, WI 53744-4451 for the following: 1) 1 each Odyssey Mainframe with 256MB Memory, 2) 1 each OD-100 Acquisition Board, 3) 1 each 8 Channel Basic Amplifier, 4) 1 each Data Viewer Software with Advanced Impression and 5) 1 each Odyssey Master Control Software. Nicolet is the manufacturer of an existing Odyssey system currently in use at the USAYPG. The sole source is required to allow the Government the capability to interchange components of the new Odyssey system with the existing Odyssey System. Interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Government's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
