The Government intends to purchase, on a sole-source basis, the following COTS software proprietary to LYNX REAL-TIME SYSTEMS INC: (1) Lynx part number A-ODEC-PPC-301D, quantity of one five-pack (five licenses), (2) Lynx part number S2-ODEC-PPC-301D, quantity of one year premium service for five licenses, (3) Lynx part number A-ODEC-X86-301D, quantity of one five pack (five licenses), (4) Lynx part number S2-ODEC-X86-301D, quantity of one year premium service for five licenses. NSWCDD has been directed to evaluate LynxOS for applicability to the SPY-1 Radar Control Computer Program. Product must provide the inherent functions and support of the LynxOS products and services. Product must support both PowerPC VME single-board computers such as the MVME2604 and MVME2700 computer along with x86-based general purpose computers. Product must also support a Solaris UNIX-based development environment, be a POSIX conformant real-time OS as certified by the IEEE, and be Y2K compliant.
