Businesses Sought for the GSFC Semi-Annual Science Forum: Goddard Space
Flight Center (GSFC) is seeking small businesses to participate in
their annual Semi-Annual Science Forum for Small Businesses to be held
Tuesday, July 25, 2000, from 9 a.m. to 1p.m., at GSFC, Greenbelt Rd,
Greenbelt, MD, Bldg. 26, Room 205. The Forum is a rare high level
marketing opportunity that allows 4-5 small firms to PRESENT their
technical capabilities before the GSFC technical, management, and
procurement community. Additionally, representatives from large prime
contractors are also in attendance for observation. THIS IS NOT A
CONFERENCE! Small firms must have a demonstrated capability in at least
one of the following categories in order to be considered for
presenting: Earth and Space Science Research & Applications Sensor and
Instrument Technology Commercial Remote Sensing Spacecraft hardware
Space and Ground Communications Lasers and LIDAR Systems Satellite Data
Processing and Analysis Space TelecommunicationsFour to Five firms will
be selected to conduct a 25-minute multi-media presentation. All small
businesses are invited to attend even if you are not presenting.
Companies must submit a capabilities statement not exceeding 5 pages
that describes the firm and their specific applications of one or more
of the above technical disciplines by Friday, June 16, 2000, to the
attention of: Ms. Olivia Gunter Small Business Specialist Goddard Space

286-1746 fax olivia.t.gunter.1@gsfc.nasa.gov Participating does not
guarantee a contract however some firms have received contract and
subcontract opportunities and awards. Many have made key contacts with
Center personnel and major industry prime contractors. It clearly puts
a firm in front of "key players" described as hard to get to.
Participants will receive a list of all NASA and Industry
representatives in attendance for follow up marketing. Small
Disadvantaged Business Firms can be "noticed" for possible
Mentor-Protigi relationships, strategic partnering and more. This
year's forum will also highlight Briefings from key GSFC technical
divisions. Don't miss it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Posted 06/06/00 (D-SN461688).
