The Department of Treasury, Financial Management Service, Washington, DC intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) FHQ00Q00751 to Landmark Systems Corporation, 12700 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, Virginia for software license and maintenance support for Interchip proprietary software Real-time Defrag (RTD) product. Award will be made as a commercial acquisition under FAR Part 12. Maintenance support includes providing enhancements, service, and maintenance to the software, and providing technical support. The software will be installed on IBM 9672-R75 at the Hyattsville Regional Operations Center. Responses must be in writing and must be received within 7 calendar days of this notice. In addition, response must include pricing and documentation in sufficient detail to allow evaluation of the service. This includes vendor's commercial price list, and GSA contract and price list (if one exists). The source codes and systems that are necessary to maintain and update the software are only available from and proprietary to Landmark Systems Corporation through an agreement with Interchip. FMS intends to purchase this software with maintenance from Landmark Systems Corporation as a sole source requirement. The authority is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1). Third party firms will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing evidence that they have an agreement with Interchip and have been granted rights by Interchip to provide the license and maintenance service on proprietary software identified herein.
