The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD has a requirement for engineering and technical support services and supplies to support the rapid design, development integration, test and evaluation, installation, fielding, certification, maintenance, life cycle and logistics support of electronic communication systems. This procurement is in support of the Special Communication Requirements Branch. The contract type is anticipated to be a cost plus fixed fee with an estimated level of effort of 1,102,000 work-years for a total of five years, with the requirement that a minimum of 30% of the total estimated contract value be subcontracted to small, small disadvantaged and woman owned businesses. The period of performance will be for a base period of 12 months (commencing on 1 October 2000 and running through 30 September 2001) with four one-year options (running 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2005). It is anticipated that this solicitation will be released 10 July 2000. This requirement is a follow-on to contract N00421-97-C-1009 in which C-Cubed Corporation is the incumbent.
