DESC: The U.S. Department of Commerce has a requirement for overseas logistic support services for its Commercial Law Development Division (CLDD) which provides advisors to the countries of Southeastern Europe and Newly Independent States. The contractor shall provide leased, furnished living accommodations with utilities, be able to secure repairs and other services to maintain an apartment or house. The contractor shall assist the advisor and family with moving into his or her residence. The contractor shall provide office and communication equipment and administrative and/or professional services. The contractor shall provide a car and driver, support in clearing customs, a translator, travel support with hotel accommodations. Additionally, the contractor shall provide for conference support at various times involving all travel and visa requirements. The contractor must already have a presence in the countries, be able to sub-contract services, manage sub-contractors, understand cash economies, and have the capital resources to fund items and services needed. The period of performance is one year with four option years. This requirement is a full and open competition. The estimated value of this acquisition is approximately $500,000 per year.
