PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: Provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, services, tools, transportation, supplies and incidentals for the preparation of the site and perform all work necessary for the construction of an approximately 14,200 square foot facility for the Nevada Air National Guard. The facility will be constructed at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The facility consists of both administrative and industrial areas. The work includes but is not limited to: Demo and relocation of an existing LOX (liquid oxygen) facility, construction of a single story structure with concrete foundation and floor slab, parachute drying tower, masonry exterior and interior walls, standing scam metal roof over steel trusses, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, public address, fire detection and special equipment. Special equipment to include installation of a hoist/bridge crane. Exterior work to include site work, excavation, concrete, asphalt paving, sewer, water, underwater electrical, natural gas and communications. The construction dollar range is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 under SIC 1541. The related small business size standard is $17 million. Anticipate awarding a single firm fixed price contract. All work must be completed within 300 days of issuance of Notice to Proceed. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 14 June 2000. Limited sets of plans and specifications will be made available on a "first come, first serve" basis until supply is exhausted. Bid opening will be at 2:00pm on 18 July 2000. Bid documents can be obtained by written request, accompanied by a non-refundable check in the amount of $100.00 made payable to the U.S. Treasury, USPFO for Nevada Contracting Office, 2601 S.
