The complex includes four(4) 22,450 sq ft. Barracks (72-man each) and one (1) 14,600 sq.ft. Soldier Community Building. The barracks include living/ sleeping rooms with semi-private baths, walk-in closets, kitchenettes, bulk storage areas, day rooms and laundry facilities. The work also includes finish grading, final site preparation, utility extensions for gas, water, sanitary sewer, electrical, communications, storm drainage and information systems, concrete work, masonry, structural and miscellaneous metalwork, carpentry, standing seam metal roofing, glass and glazing, textured ceilings, painting, carpeting, sewage shredders and pumps, cathodic protection, EMCS, fire protection and alarm system, seismic protection, plumbing, HVAC, diesel generator, lighting, electrical distribution systems, and electrical work. Estimated cost of proposed procurement: Between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Estimated time of completion: 720 calendard days. Solicitation will be issued on or about 22 June 2000.
