EBS CD-ROM disks with plans and specs available on or about 19 June 2000 at no charge per set. EBS CD-ROM disks will be issued on a first come, first served basis until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB Number DACA67-00-B-0218 when ordering. Requests MUST BE IN WRITING and be received before bid documents will be mailed. An additional confirmation copy of your request need not be mailed. Please be sure to include if you are a Prime, Sub or Plans Room. EBS CD-ROMs may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Submit requests by 12 June 2000. Estimated dollar value is in the range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 and completion period is 365 days. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your bid or proposal will exceed $1,000,000 you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan. For the purposes of this procurement a concern is considered a small business if its average annual receipts are $17 million or less. Description of Work (physical characteristics): Construct one-company satellite fire station along 17th Street, North Fort Lewis. Construction includes a 742-square meter concrete and concrete masonry unit fire station building on spread footings with open web steel roof joists supporting a standing seam metal roof. Building includes several offices, a kitchen, dining area/dayroom, six sleeping rooms, a physical training room, restrooms, storage and mechanical rooms, and three high fire-fighting apparatus bays. Building includes gas infra-red heaters in apparatus bays, gas kitchen range, a 2.7 liter/second, 621 kPa air compressor, 170-liter domestic hot water heater, and 4-direct exchange split forced air condition units with gas-fired furnace sections, telephones and fire alarms. Site improvements include water, sewer, electrical, gas, and telecommunications utilities, asphalt and portland cement parking areas and access drives and sidewalks, and landscaping.
