The National Emergency Training Center has a requirement to repave asphalt roads and construct a new asphalt road around campus. Project will require milling and repaving asphalt roads along the Main Avenue, around Building N to north perimeter around Buildings V, M, L, and K. This includes milling and hauling off site to approved disposal locations; minor repair of curbing; tack coat and application of new 2" wearing coarse, and re-striping and painting for parking and cross-walks. Also, project requires construction of new asphalt road from the main avenue to existing road in front of Building C. Work also includes tying into the existing curbs and sidewalks on the main avenue. The estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The period of performance for this project is 120 calendar days. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The Invitation for Bid (IFB)will be available on or about 06/22/00 and the bid opening on or about 07/24/00. A Site Visit will be scheduled on or about 07/06/00.
