This existing masonry with concrete and wood structure requires replacement of the existing windows, doors, finishes, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, hazardous material abatement, and incidental related work. This solicitation is formatted as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with the requirements designated in FAR 15.203 for a negotiated procurement. This method permits evaluation of proposals based on price competition, technical merit and other factors, permits impartial and comprehensive evaluation of offerors' proposals, permits discussions if necessary, and ensures selection of the source whose performance provides best value to the Government. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed price construction contract. Estimated cost range is $14,000,000 to $16,000,000.
