Furnish, fabricate and deliver four (4) each triple reduction, helical, parallel-shift-type gear reducers in accordance with drawing and specifications provided in the Request for Quote (RFQ). Two of the reducers will be an opposite hard arrangement. Reducers shall have a nominal 29.6 to 1 reduction, and be desgined per AGMA standards. These reducers will replace existing primary reducers in a gear train and must be adaptable to the embedded bases of the existing primary reducers and match to the existing secondary reducers. The reducers shall be a standard catalog model modified as necessary to fit the existing machinery dimensional restrictions. Gear reducers shall have a minimum 1.5 service factor, an input horsepower rating of 10HP at 1750 RPM and a minimum efficiency of 97%. delivery within 160 ARO is required. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The RFQ will be available on or about 16 June 2000. Quotes are due in by 4:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on 12 July 2000.
